Castle Wood Croft is an off grid woodland Croft comitted to sustainability and inclusivity.
We practice regenerative farming and forestry without using pesticides or herbicides. We produce food derived from animals thorugh our dairy goats, pigs, poultry and bees . We produce vegetables, fruits and also native trees grown from seed collected locally
INCLUSIVE
We provide a space for marginalised groups in the community to come and be outdoors and engage in various crafting, crofting and conservation activities. We are increasing access to the outdoors by creating paths for disabled individuals. Our raised beds offer the chance to grow vegetables, and there is space in the apiary to house bees for those with limited gardens. People have the opportunity to interact with animals, enjoy the woodland and learn about a holistic farming model
